Kieron Pollard plays smart knock of unbeaten 41 runs as Mumbai Indians post 149/8 against CSK in IPL final

Hyderabad, May 12 (IBNS): Kieron Pollard smashed unbeaten 41 runs as he helped Mumbai Indians post 149 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the final match of the Indian Premier League against Chennai Super Kings here on Sunday.

Pollard played a smart knock where he hit three boundaries and three sixes to put his side in the game where CSK bowlers also tried to dominate the opposition.

Hardik Pandya entertained his fans with a quick knock of 1--ball 16 runs.

Mumbai opener Quinton de Kock started the innings on a solid note with a 17-ball 29 runs innings after skipper Rohit Sharma elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Deepak Chahar picked up three wickets for CSK.

Thakur and Tahir scalped two wickets each.

Both CSK and MI have won the IPL title thrice.
