Kidambi Srikanth defeats Lee Hyun-Il to clinch Denmark Open

New Delhi, Oct 22 (IBNS): Creating magic on the court, Indian badminton player Kidambi Srikanth defeated Lee Hyun-Il of South Korea to clinch the Denmark Open title on Sunday.

The Indian defeated his opponent  21-10, 21-5 in clinch his third Superseries Premier title.

The match just ended in 25 minutes as the South Korean could not giving strong reply to Srikanth.

With the victory, the Indian registered his 5th Superseries title victory and third this year.

The Indian player maintained his dominance all throughout the clash.

Indian Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore congratulated and tweeted: "What a day for Indian sports! @srikidambi wins #DenmarkSSP, and with it, his THIRD super series for the year! Well done, champ! Way to go!"

BAI Media tweeted: "5th Superseries title for Srikanth Kidambi. His third Superseries title this year. His astounding run of form continues. #DenmarkSSP."
