Kane Williamson injured during match against Bangladesh, taken to hospital

Wellington, Mar 11 (IBNS): New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was injured during the second Test match between New Zealand and Bangladesh at the Basin Reserve in Wellington here on Monday.

Kane was hurt on the shoulder.

The New Zealand skipper was hurt while diving in the field during Bangladesh's first innings on Sunday, reports said.

He was looking in discomfort while coming out to bat in the middle on Monday.

He scored 74 runs in the match.

He was dismissed by spinner Taijul Islam.
