Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa crash out of Olympics

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 12 (IBNS): In yet another disappointment for Indian fans, Badminton stars Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa crashed out of the Rio Olympics after being defeated in a Rio Olympics games here on Friday.

They were defeated in the match by Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek of the Netherlands in their second Group A match of the major sporting event of the year.

The Indian pair were defeated by 16-21, 21-16, 17-21  margin.
