J&K to start their Santosh Trophy campaign today

Srinagar/IBNS: J&K senior football team is going to kick start its campaign for the 75th Santosh Trophy National Football Championship in Chandigarh Sunday.

Five teams are participating in the north zone leg of the championship.

J&K will be playing its first match against hosts Chandigarh Sunday.

The J&K side includes- Nirdoash Sagotra, Furqan Ahmad, Faisal Thakur, Guatam, Shahid Nazir, Arun Nagyial, Hyder, Tahfeem, Shakir, Imad, Kartik, Raja Musharaf, Aakif Reshi, Mehran, Sarmad, Arjun, Mehran Rasool , Adeel Tariq, Mehjoor, Furqan Nabi,  Asrar and Mohit.

Their staff includes Satpal (Coach), and Shahnaz (Assistant Coach) among two other members.

The north zone leg of the championship will see Chandigarh, Services, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh competing.
