Jasprit Bumrah, Sanjana Ganeshan welcome baby boy Angad

Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah and his television presenter wife Sanjana Ganesha welcomed a baby boy on Monday.

Bumrah took to X to write, "Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world.

"We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it - Jasprit and Sanjana."

The couple have named their first child Angad.

Bumrah, the premier fast bowler of India, left the Asia Cup prior to the match against Nepal to be played on Monday.

Bumrah and Sanjana got married at a private ceremony in Goa in March 2021.
