Jammu and Kashmir: 3x3 basketball championship concludes

Srinagar: 3x3 basketball championship organised by Srinagar district basketball association concluded Sunday at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh.

In this tournament, around 100 boys and girls participated under strict Covid guidelines. The motive behind organising this tournament was to revive the game of basketball in the valley after lockdown.

The winner in the boys category was lifted by team "Remembering Kobe" while team "Real G" emerged as runners up.

In the girls category team "Net Rippers" lifted the winner's trophy while team "Hoopstars "emerged as runners up.

The most valuable player in boys was given to Mujtaba while in girls Shezan Wani bagged the title.

On the closing ceremony the chief guest was Hilal DySP JKP and guest of honor Mushtaq Zargar, manager Gindun stadium Rajbagh.

They distributed awards and cash prizes among the participants. The tournament was sponsored by Tanishq and Black Bear Brew. The tournament was organised under the supervision of Mir Mursaleen and the event was covered by the ZmK collective.
