ISSF WC: Jitu Rai wins silver

Munich, June 11 (IBNS): India's Jitu Rai clinched the silver medal in the men's 10-metre air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup in Munich on Wednesday.

After aggregating 583 in the qualification stage , the Indian shooter shot  199.4 in the finals.

The gold medal was won by Spain’s Pablo Carrera after shooting 201.3 while the bronze went to Pavlo Korostylov of Ukraine.

India's  Prakash Nanjappa finished seventh in the event.

He shot 97.1 in the finals.
