ISSF: Major (HUN) pockets second gold medal in two days

New Delhi, Feb 26 (IBNS): Hungary’ Veronika Major won her second gold medal in two days, during day-4 of the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi.

The 21-year old athlete scored 245.1 points, with an average higher of 10.2 points per shot throughout the 24 final shot, to win today’s 10m Air Pistol Women final.

She had won gold also at the 25m Pistol Women final, two days ago, here in New Delhi.

Following her, Chinese Taipei’s Wu Chia Ying and South Korea’s Kim Bomi claimed silver and bronze.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic quota places went to Chinese Taipei and South Korea, as Major had already won a spot along with the 25m Pistol Women gold medal.
