| | Oct 15, 2014, at 06:51 am
New Delhi, Oct 14 (IBNS) New Delhi's first taste of ISL fever was rather blunt with the opening match between Delhi Dynamos FC and FC Pune City ended ina draw here on Tuesday.

With crowds expecting to see some strong performance by the local team at the  Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, they were left disappointed as both the side shared a point each.

With greater possession and chances, the Delhi side looked a much better side than their opponent.

The crowd cheered up as Alessandro Del Piero came to  the field, triggering hopes of ending the deadlock.

With no side settling for a goal, the match ended with a final scoreline of 0-0.

Delhi side will next face current leaders  Atlético de Kolkata on Oct 19.

On Oct 18, FC Pune City will take on state rivals Mumbai City FC in Mumbai.
