IPL: Virat races past Dhoni, is the most expensive player
With a package of 15 crore, Kohli, the present Indian Test skipper have edged past the national ODI and T20 captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to grab the numero uno spot.
Dhoni with 12.5 crore is jointly tied at the second spot with Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan.
Other big shots include Rohit Sharma (11.5 crore) and the out of favour southpaw Gautam Gambhir (10 crore).
Among the overseas players, Keiron Pollard draws the biggest cheque with a whooping 9.7 crore, followed closely by 'Mr. 360' AB de Villiers (9.5 crore)
