IPL: Sunrisers beat Delhi via D/L

New Delhi, May 10 (IBNS): In a rain hit match, Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Delhi Daredevils by eight wickets via D/L method in a Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Saturday.

Delhi posted 143 for seven on the scorecard.

The target was reduced to 117 in 15 overs as the rain stopped the match.

Delhi's new target was reduced to 97 in 12 overs when rain affected the match.

After all interruption, Sunrisers scored 44 for two in 4.2 overs,with the score to be reached being 43 from five overs.

David Warner (12*) and Naman Ojha (13*) remained unbeaten till the end.

Delhi posted 143 for seven in 20 overs.

Dinesh Karthik was the top scorer for the side with his 39.

Kevin Pietersen (35), Mayank Agarwal (25), Laxmi Shukla (21) were the other significant contributors for the side.

Dale Steyn took two wickets by giving away 20 runs in his four overs.
