IPL clash: Delhi Capitals beat Rajasthan Royals by 46 runs

Sharjah/UNI: Shimron Hetmyer 45 off 24, Marcus Stoinis 39 off 30 and fine bowling spell by Rabada 3/35, Ashwin 2/22 and Stoinis 2/17 helped DC beat RR by 46 runs in the 23rd match of the IPL at Sharjah Cricket Stadium here on Friday.

DC are now at No 1 spot after winning their fifth game from 6 matches with 10 points in the IPL table, MI have slided to No 2 spot, while RR have lost their 4th game from 6 matches and stand at No 7.

DC posted 184/8 in 20 overs while RR chasing were bowled out for 138 in 19.4 over.

Shimron Hetmyer 45 off 24 and Marcus Stoinis 39 off 30 and bowlers Rabada, Ashwin and Stoinis were behind DCs victory.

For RR Tewatia was the highest run getter 38, others were Jaiswal 34 and skipper Smith 24.
