Ahmedabad/IBNS: Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans registered a mammoth 55-run win over mighty Mumbai Indians in the 35th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 here on Tuesday.

Batting first, GT scored 207/6 in 20 overs.

After Shubman Gill departed playing a mesmerising knock of 56 (34 balls), the charge was taken by David Miller and young Abhinav Manohar.

Miller slammed 46 off 22 balls while Abhinav took the MI bowlers for a ride across the stadium with his 42 off 21 balls.

A cameo towards the end by Rahul Tewatia (unbeaten 20 off 5 balls) powered GT to cross the 200-mark.

MI never looked confident in the run chase as they continued to lose wickets throughout the inning handing over a comfortable win to GT.

Though Nehal Wadhera (40 off 21 balls) tried to do the uphill task of chasing down 208, GT restricted MI to 152/9 in 20 overs.

Noor Ahmad (3/37) was the best bowler for GT followed by Rashid Khan (2/27), Mohit Sharma (2/38) and Hardik Pandya who picked the important wicket of MI captain Rohit Sharma.
