IPL 2023: Faf, Virat Kohli, Maxwell rip apart LSG bowling for RCB to post 212/2 in 20 overs

Bengaluru/IBNS: Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell raised the storm with their bats to post 212/2 in 20 overs at MA Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Monday.

Batting first, Kohli gave his team the perfect start opting for all big shots in the powerplay overs.

Kohli built the RCB batting's strong base with his 61 off just 44 balls.

After he was dismissed, skipper Faf du Plessis, who had a slow start, accelerated to smash an unbeaten 79 off 46 balls.

Faf, whose big sixes were a nightmare for the LSG bowlers, was aptly supported by Glenn Maxwell.

Maxwell played an equally powerful knock of 59 to help RCB cross 200.

The two overs were picked by Mark Wood and Amit Mishra.
