IPL 2020: Rajasthan Royals beat Punjab by 7 wickets, keep playoffs hopes alive

Abu Dhabi/UNI: All-rounder Ben Stokes hammered crucial half century (50 off 26) and Sanju Samson added 48 off 25, skipper Steven Smith 31 not out helped RR beat Punjab by 7 wickets in 50th Match of the IPL at Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Friday keeping their hopes alive for playoffs.

Earlier, Punjab with Gayle's 99 and skipper KL Rahul's 46 and Pooran 22 posted 185/4 in 20 overs while in reply RR achieved target in 17.3 overs.

With today's win RR stay alive for playoffs with their sixth win from 13 matches with 12 points while Punjab who are still at no 4 and have dim chances to finish in top two.

Now one out of RCB and DC will finish in the top two.
