IPL 10: After KL Rahul, Ashwin to miss out due to injury

Pune, Mar 31 (IBNS): After KL Rahul, off-spinner of The Rising Pune Supergiant, Ravichandran Ashwin is likely to miss the tenth edition of Indian Premier League due to a sports hernia injury, according to media reports, on Friday.

The off-spinner would be out of the field for six to eight weeks.

Ashwin is the second player of RPS to miss out after Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh due to a shoulder.

KL Rahul of Royal Challengers of Bangalore would also miss IPL 10 due to shoulder injury.

The tournament will begin on Apr 5.
