Indian Wells, Mar 12 (IBNS): Tennis star Sania Mirza and her partner Martina Hingis made a winning start to their Indian Wells challenge as they defeated Australian team of Casey Dellacqua and Samantha Stosur here.

The Indo-Swiss pair moved to the second round of the BNP Paribas Open.

Sania and Martina defeated their opponents 6-3 7-5 in just 68 minutes to move to the second round of the clash.
