Bengaluru, Oct 27 (IBNS) The Bengaluru police on Tuesday arrested Indian legspinner Amit Mishra for allegedly assaulting a woman in a hotel, reports said.
The police earlier registered a criminal case against  Mishra after one of his female friends alleged that he assaulted and outraged her modesty in a five star hotel in Bengaluru on September 25.

However, Mishra will be released on bail, as it is a bailable offence.

The  police issued a notice to Mishra earlier this month and asked him to give his statements.
