Rome, May 1 (UNI): India's U-15 men's team rounded off its MU-15 tournament with a thrilling 2-2 draw against Slovenia on Tuesday in Palmanova, Italy.

Sridarth scored the first goal of the match to put India ahead early on. However, Enej Marsetic gave Slovenia equaliser. Both the teams went into the tunnel at half time with the score was tied at 1-1.

Slovenia took the lead in the second half, but Sridarth scored the equaliser with just seconds of regulation time left on the clock to get the result for India.

India got off the blocks with Eric and Himanshu creating chances in the opening exchanges. However, it was Sridarth, who broke the stalemate, as he flicked the ball with one foot, and finished it off with the other.

After scoring the goal India were knocking on Slovenia's doors, but it was Marsetic, who equalised for Slovenia in the 20th minute.

In the second half, Slovenia posted some threat to India. Their efforts finally reaped the rewards when they took 2-1 lead in the 51st minute. However, Sridarth came again to India's rescue, as he scored an equaliser with just seconds left on the clock, to level the scores yet again.

Earlier, India had lost to Mexico 3-1 in the Championship. Sridarth was the only goal scorer for India.
