India post 144/8 in 2nd T20 International against England

| | Jan 30, 2017, at 02:20 am
Nagpur, Jan 29 (IBNS): Brilliant bowling by England bowlers helped restrict India at 144 for the loss of eight wickets in the second T20 International match of the series here on Sunday.

Lokesh Rahul remained the top scorer for the side with his 71 runs. He hit six boundaries and two sixes.

Virat Kohli, who opened the innings with Rahul, contributed 21 runs.

England bowlers maintained tight bowling length and used the conditoon of the pitch strongly to keep Indian batsmen under check.

Manish Pandey contributed 30 runs with his willow but took 26 balls to reach the score. Things became tough as he hammered only one six in his knock.

Captain's MS Dhoni's 7-ball 5 runs also did not help India in posting a massive total at the scorecard.

Chris Jordan picked up three wickets for England.
