New Delh/UNI: India and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) fast bowler T Natarajan on Thursday received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Natarajan took to Twitter to inform about the development and thanked the health care workers for their effort in the middle of this pandemic.

"Am so grateful to get my #Vaccine this morning. A million thanks to our incredible health care workers who have put themselves at risk for our people," he tweeted along with his picture.

The left-arm medium-pacer was ruled out of the IPL 2021 due to a knee injury before the tournament was suspended due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubble.

He later underwent surgery for the same and is now recovering.
