India keep hope alive for berth in main round of Davis Cup tennis

Kolkata, Feb 2 (IBNS): India kept their hope alive to seal a berth in the main round of Davis Cup tennis qualifier at Calcutta South Club here on Saturday.

India came from behind and won the double match against Italy 4/6, 6/3 and 6/4.

Rohan Bopanna and Bij Sharan put up a great fight to win the match in 103 minutes.

Having won two singles a day ago, Italy are now leading the Davis Cup 2-1.
