India defeat West Indies in second Test to clinch series 2-0

Jamaica, Sept 3 (IBNS): India showed an all-round performance as they defeated West Indies by 257 runs in the second Test match to clinch the series 2-0 here on Monday.

Shami and Jadeja shared three wickets as India bowled out West Indies for 210 runs.

The hosts needed 468 runs for victory.

India fetched 120 points securing win in the two-Test match series in the ICC Test Championship and with this victory Virat Kohli has become no one Indian captain.

India put a target of 468 runs before the Windies, but hosts were bundled out for 210. West Indies continued their play on day 4 after losing 45/2 and till Lunch added 100 runs but lost two wickets.

At Lunch Windies were 145/4, After the Lunch the hosts were all out for 210.

Under Virat's captaincy this is India's 28th win and now has become most successful Test captain surpassing MS Dhoni's 27 wins.

India won the first Test by 318 runs.
