Harare, June 13 (IBNS): In a low scoring encounter, Zimbabwe were defeated by eight wickets as India dominated the second ODI match and clinched the series 2-0 here on Monday.

Putting up a strong show, Indian bowlers bowled out Zimbabwe for 126 runs in 34.3 overs with

Yuzvendra Chahal picking up three wickets and then it was the visiting side's batsmen who reached 129 runs by losing two wickets with 139 balls to spare.

KL Rahul, who smashed a hundred on debut in the last match, scored 33 runs as he joined

Karun Nair (39), adding 58 runs on the opening wicket stand.

After they departed, Ambati Rayudu (41*) and Manish Pandey  (4*)reached the winning score.

Rayudu smashed seven boundaries in his knock.

Vusi Sibanda was the only top scorer for the side with his 53 runs as Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 127 runs.

Sibanda looked stable in front of the Indian attack as he contributed six boundaries and a six in his 69-ball knock.

The remaining lineup failed to create much magic in front of the Indian attack which did not lack the sting and flavouyr needed to win the match.

Barinder Sran and Dhawal Kulkarni  picked up two wickets each.
