India beat West Indies by seven wickets to clinch series 3-0

Providence, Aug 7 (IBNS): India beat West Indies seven wickets in the third T20 match of the tournament to clinch the series 3-0 here on Wednesday.

After restricting West Indies to 146 runs for the loss of six wickets, India reached 150 runs by losing three wickets.

Indian batsman Rishabh Pant,the rising star who is seen as a replacement of MS Dhoni, added 65 unbeaten runs to help win the tournament.

Virat Kohli once again contributed with the willow as he scored 59 crucial runs in the match.

Thomas picked up two wickets.

Pant flopped with the willow in the past two matches but delivered on Tuesday as he hammered four boundaries and four sixes to give Carribean bowlers tough time.

Earlier, Kieron Pollard added 58 runs as West Indies scored 146 runs for the loss ofi six wickets in their quota of 20 overs,

Chahar picked up three wickets for the Men in Blue.
