Ind vs Aus: Visitors 218 for six at tea as Kuldeep Yadav spells danger

Dharamsala, Mar 25 (IBNS) : A fine bowling by spinner Kuldeep Yadav helped India keep Australia restricted to 218 for the loss of six wickets at tea on Saturday, the day one of the fourth and final Test match in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar trophy.

More than half the Aussie total came from skipper er Steve Smith continued with his blazing form by striking a century (111)  as all other batsemen, except opener David Warner (56) were out cheaply.

While Yadav claimed three wickets giving away only 41 runs, Umesh Yadav (2) and Ravichandran Ashwin (1) picked up the other wickets.

Yadav, who gave the first jolt to the visitors by removing Warner before lunch, came back with more vengeance sometime before tea-first claiming the scalp of Peter Handscombe and then returning Glenn Maxwell (8) with a gem delivery denying him the chance to build a big partnership with Smith.

Smith, whose innings was embellished with 14 boundaries, was the last man to go back to the pavilion after Ashwin had him caught by Ajinkya Rahane.
