Kolkata, Oct 3 (IBNS): The New Zealand bowlers restricted the Indian batsmen for 263 runs in their second innings here on Monday, on day four of the second Test match between the two nations.

New Zealand require 376 runs to win the Test match and level series 1-1.

The Indian tail wagged, adding 54 runs to prolong the suffering for the visitors.

Wriddhiman Saha, who starred in a rearguard with Rohit Sharma (82) after India's dramatic collapse, scored his second half century of the match.

Saha (58), who remained unbeaten in the first innings, replicated his feat.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (23) played the perfect foil to Saha's defiant innings.

Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry and Trent Boult each picked up 3 wickets, while Neil Wagner accounted for a wicket.
