IMF to hold ' Metro Function' at Dhenkanal on Jan 10

Kolkata, Jan 6 (IBNS) Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), East Zone Committee, is all set to hold a 'Metro Function' in Odisha's Dhenkanal district on January 10.
The function aims to promote adventure and sport climbing in rural areas under the directives of IMF headquarters in New Delhi.
 
 
IMF, East Zone Committee,  has decided to organise IMF-Dhenkanal Metro Function 2015' in association with the Indian Institute of Mass Communication at its auditorium, according to IMF, East Zone Committee secretary Mrinal Chatterjee.
 
 "We believe that IMF will be able to bring Odisha in the front line on adventure sports map of the country and this seminar is aimed at attracting the Odisha youth towards the adventure sports," Chatterjee said in release.
 
Roopa Roshan Sahoo, IAS, District Magistrate, Dhenkanal, will inaugurate the seminar Jan 10.
 
Students of IIMC and different other colleges of Dhenkanal will take part in the programme.
