IFA unveils title sponsor for Calcutta Football League

Kolkata, Aug 3 (IBNS): Allied Blenders and Distillers Pvt Ltd (ABD) under their brand Officer’s Choice Blue has signed a four- year deal with the Indian Football Association (IFA) to be the title sponsor of the forthcoming Calcutta Football League Premier Division – A.

With this sponsorship, the much awaited football league will be called as the ‘Officer’s Choice Blue Calcutta Football League Premier Division – A’.

“We hope it will increase the league's excitement in the days to come,”  said Utpal Kumar Ganguli, Secretary of IFA, Vice Chairman of ABD.

Backed by the IFA, this year 55 matches will be played by 11 teams which includes East Bengal Club, Mohun Bagan AC, Md. Sporting Club, Sports Authority of India, Tollygunge Agragami, Southern Samity, Kalighat MS, Army XI Club, Arayan Club, Police AC, BNR Recreation Club.

The Calcutta Football League will kick start on Aug 4 and will conclude till Aug 20.
