Kolkata/UNI:  Cricket Association of Bengal's secretary Snehasish Ganguly, who is also the elder brother of BCCI president Sourav Gagnuly, today said he was perfectly 'fine and fit', contrary to the fake news doing rounds about his corona infection.

A CAB statement today said: "This is to clarify that CAB Honorary Secretary Snehasish Ganguly is perfectly fine contrary to the fake news doing rounds about his corona infection."

" I am perfectly healthy and am doing office everyday. The news doing the rounds about my illness is baseless and is not expected in these trying times," said Snehasish Ganguly, a former Ranji trophy player.

“Hope that after this, it will firmly put a lid on such untrue sensational news that are doing rounds," the senior brother said.

Media reports said Snehasish Ganguly's wife, his mother-in-law and his father-in-law have tested positive for COVID-19.
