Harmison joins football club as manager

London, Feb 9 (IBNS) Leaving aside cricket, former England pacer Steve Harmison has been named as the manager of Northern League Division One football team Ashington, officials said on Monday.

The football club plays in the ninth tier of English football.

"The two-time Ashes winner will take charge of his hometown club, which sits in the ninth tier of English football, alongside head coach Lee Skinner and Lee Anderson," read the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) website.

In his career, Harmison has played 63 Tests, 58 one-day internationals and two Twenty20s for England.
