Gujarat Lions beat Kings XI Punjab by 6 wickets

Mohali, May 7 (IBNS): Hashim Amla's century failed to create magic as Gujarat Lions batsmen managed to beat Kings XI Punjab by six wickets in an IPL match here on Sunday.

After Kings posted competitive 189 runs for the loss of three wickets, Gujarat reached 192 runs by losing four wickets in

Chasing a competitive score, Gujarat's Dwayne Smith top scored with 74 runs.

He hit eight boundaries and four sixes in his knock.

Earlier, Amla hit 60-ball 104 runs knock to post 180 plus score on the board.

He hit eight boundaries and five sixes in the innings.
