Great comeback: Virat Kohli appreciates his Indian team after victory against New Zealand

New Delhi, Feb 3 (IBNS): As Indian team registered a thumping victory against New Zealand in the final match of the ODI series, skipper Virat Kohli appreciated his players and said the win reflected the 'character' of the side after it was crushed by the opponents in the fourth match.

Kohli praised his team for registering a 'great comeback' after the defeat in the fourth ODI match of the series.

"Great come back from a tough situation early on to make it 4-1. Shows the character we have. Well done boys. Jai Hind @BCCI," Kohli tweeted.

India defeated New Zealand by 35 runs in the fifth ODI match of the series.

India clinched the series 4-1.

Rohit Sharma captained the side in the last two ODI matches of the series in the absence of Kohli.

Kohli was rested for the last two matches of the series.
