Glad we restricted Pakistan to 83: Dhoni

Dhaka, Feb 27 (IBNS): After winning a thriller against Pakistan in an Asia Cup group stage clash, Indian skipper MS Dhoni said restricting the neighbouring nation to 83 was positive.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Dhoni said: "Glad we restricted to 83 because 100 plus runs would have caused us problems."

Appreciating  Mohammad Amir's performance, he said: "Amir bowled really well."

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi said his players could not read the situation well.

"We didn't read the pitch well. We will need to learn not to lose early wickets. Our boys didn't read the situation well," Afridi said.

India beat Pakistan by five wickets.
