Garbine Muguruza stuns Kerber to reach Wimbledon q/f

London, July 10 (IBNS): Spain's Garbine Muguruza defeated Angelique Kerber of Germany to move to the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon here on Monday.

 Muguruza defeated her opponent 4-6 6-4 6-4.

Kerber is likely to loose her number one ranking with the defeat.

The match lasted for two hours and 20 minutes.

Venus Williams of America reached the quarterfinals by beating Croatian Ana Konjuh 6-3, 6-2.
