Four way tie for the lead at the Milky Moo RCGC Juniors

Kolkata, Aug 23 (IBNS): The quartet of Sanu Das, Samridh Sen, Khokhan Mulla and Abhikanks Basu braved tough playing conditions and carded eight over 80s to be locked in a four way tie at the top of the Milky Moo RCGC Juniors leaderboard being played here at the Par-72 Royal Calcutta Golf Club.

Sanu looked be on course for a brilliant round after starting off the 10th and being even par 36 after nine holes on a day where the front nine played relatively tougher than the back more or less across the field. Samridh, Khokhan and Abhikanks managed the two nines a bit more evenly.

Khokhan Mulla also leads the Category B event followed by Pinku Das two strokes behind at 82 and fifth overall. Kaushal Bagrodia is placed third in the category at 86 and ninth overall.

Category C is led by Manhar Bajoria is similarly locked at the top albeit in a duel with Ramayush Ray after both carded 83. Garv Lakhmani is placed third a further four strokes behind at 87.

Anshul Mishra is the favorite to clinch the Category D title as he enjoys a comfortable five stroke lead after shooting an 82 over Somprit Das. Viranca Poddar is placed third overnight a further four strokes behind.

Amongst the Girls, Smriti Bhargava is the runaway leader at 80 in the A&B combined category as he enjoys an eighteen stroke lead over Arnaaz Ahmed followed by Vibha Nath, a further two strokes behind. Karishma Samadder is placed top at 84 in Category C while Anaahat Bindra leads the Category D.

Prashant Agarwal leads the Category E as he brought in the only under-par round of the day of one-under 35.
