Formula 1 driver dies 9 months after suffering a fatal car crash
"Bianchi, 25, had been in a coma since crashing his Marussia into a recovery vehicle at October's rain-hit race," BBC reported.
A former member of the Ferrari young driver academy, Bianchi made his Formula 1 debut in the year 2013 with racing team Marussia.
F1 race drivers have taken to micro blogging site Twitter to pay homage to their departed colleague.
McLaren’s Jenson Button wrote, “Last night we lost a truly great guy and a real fighter #RIPJules my sincerest Condolences to his family and friends.”
Others, including his fans, too have poured in their condolences as #RIPJules was trending on twitter for the entire day.
