Inverness/Edinburgh, Jan 5 (IBNS) The death of an English county cricketer, Matthew Hobden aged 22, on Saturday has called for a police investigation, according to reports.
Hobden, who played for Sussex in all formats for his county side, was found dead in a private property near Inverness, a city in Scotland.

Though no alarms have been raised so far regarding foul-play, a Police Scotland Spokesperson was quoted as saying by BBC as an 'unexplained death'.

His untimely demise was met with tributes from the England camp and experts who thought that Hobden had the potential to don the English jersey.
