London, Aug 10 (IBNS): Riding on a strong performance by the side which defeated India on Saturday to go 2-1 up in the five Test series, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Sunday named an unchanged side for the fifth and final Test match of the series.

"Following England’s victory over India by an innings and 54 runs in the 4th Investec Test, England selectors today announced an unchanged 13-man squad for the 5th Test commencing Friday 15 August at the Kia Oval," read the ECB website.

English pacer Stuart Broad, who had suffered a fractured nose on Saturday, has been named in the side.

He retired hurt after a Varun Aaron bouncer hit him. He took six wickets in the Indian first innings to destroy the visitors. He was adjudged the 'Man of the Match'.

Earlier in the day, the pacer tweeted: "Little bit sore this morning but not too bad! Doc did a great job with the stitches. On to The Oval! (With a mask)."
