DPS, BSS, Ashok Hall, Modern High, National High, Khalsa Boys reach semis of Regatta Championship in Kolkata

Kolkata/IBNS: Delhi Public School (DPS), represented by Bisaja Chakraborty, Sayantika Bhowmik, Oindrila Paul, and Sumedha Ghosh, entered the semi-final of the Fours for the junior girls, defeating South Point at the last four stage of the 50th All India Invitation Schools Regatta Championship, organised by Lake Club here on Wednesday.

DPS apart, Ballygunge Siksha Sadan also made it to the semi-final, beating National High School in the same group.

Others to reach the penultimate stage of the meet are Ashok Hall ‘A’ and Modern High School in the senior girls Fours, ousting National High School CBSE and Ashok Hall in the quarter-finals, respectively.

National High School and Khalsa Boys School also moved into the semi-finals of the senior boys' Fours, defeating Lake Point and National High School CBSE, respectively.

The following are the results of other races of the league stages this day:

In the Junior Girls Double Scull, Binodini beat Andrews, BSS beat Patha Bhavan, Sir Nripendra beat Lake Girls, and Beltala beat Kamala Girls.

In the Junior Boys Double Scull, St Lawrence beat Future Hope, La Martiniere Boys beat Patha Bhavan, and South City beat Jagadamba.

In the Junior Boys Fours, St beat Patha Bhavan, La Martiniere Boys beat New Horizon, and Kalidhan also beat New Horizon.

In the Senior Boys Fours, Andrews beat Jagadamba, while La Martiniere Boys advanced with a row over against New Horizon.
