Delhi Dynamos FC to hold Open Football Trials
The youngsters will get an opportunity to showcase their talent and win a chance to be a part of a skill enrichment workshop and larger opportunities. They will train alongside some of the best fresh talent across the country.
Continuing its efforts in grassroots and youth football development, Delhi Dynamos Football Club (DDFC), our national capital’s very own football team in the Hero Indian Super League, launched its grassroots programme in Delhi-NCR.
DDFC aims to create sustainable opportunities for boys (born either in 2004 or 2005) in the region through Open trials, conducted on Mar 30, 2016.
Top 120 aspirants would be scouted by Delhi Dynamos FC Coaches and technical directors.
The following are the details of the event:
Date and Time: March 30, 2016 | 9 AM IST
Venue: New Willingdon Ground, Chanakyapuri (Air Force Complex)
Participants must carry their football kit with 2 passport size photos and original birth certificate (with photocopy)
The shortlisted aspirants would then be invited for a follow up scouting festival on Apr 3, 2016in presence of international coaches from the Reliance Foundation Young Champs Programme. Shortlisted candidates would then be sent to Mumbai for a final round of screening to stand a chance to be part of the Reliance Young Champs residential academy.
The Reliance Foundation Young Champs Programme is a multi-year football scholarship for talented boys identified through the ISL grassroots program from all over India. The scholarship, which commenced last year, includes football training, education, nutrition, injury management etc. and is directed towards providing the best possible platform for Indian talent to grow and develop.
