New Delhi, Apr 8 (IBNS): India will face Serbia in the Davis Cup tennis World Group play-off later this year.

Serbia will be traveling to India to play the matches from Sept 12 to Sept 14.

Indian fans will be hoping to see Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic in action in the country.

"The Draw for the 2014 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group play-offs has handed Serbia and Spain difficult away trips to India and Brazil respectively on12-14 September. Argentina also face a fight to remain in the World Group following Tuesday’s draw, with Martin Jaite's four-time runners-up due to travel to Israel," daviscup.com said.

"Australia, Canada and USA were given more favourable home draws, with Pat Rafter’s men hosting Uzbekistan, USA taking on Slovak Republic and Canada granted a home tie, albeit a challenging one, against Colombia. The remaining two ties see Croatia travel to Netherlands in a draw decided by lot, and Ukraine set to host Belgium," it said.
