David Peever takes charge as CA chairman

Sydney, Oct 30 (IBNS): David Peever has taken charge as the new Cricket Australia chairman.

The former Rio Tinto Australia managing director will replace outgoing chairman Wally Edwards.

Cricket Australia has elected David Peever to the post.

"This is a key time for Australian cricket," Peever was quoted as saying by CA website.

He said,"A lot of significant change has occurred for the better on and off the field."
