CWG: Indian weightlifter Ragala Venkat Rahul clinches gold medal

Gold Coast, Apr 7 (IBNS): Giving Indians another positive news, Indian weightlifter Ragala Venkat Rahul won the fourth gold medal for the country at the ongoing 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

Rahul clinched the yellow medal in the  men’s 85kg  event.

The Indian weightlifter lifted a maximum of 151kg in snatch, before lifting 187kg in clean and jerk to ensure another gold medal for India.

Samoa’s Don Opeloge won silver while the bronze medal went to  Malaysia’a Muhamad Fazrul Azrie.
