Colombo test: India post 101/1 at lunch on Day 1 against Sri Lanka

Colombo, Aug 3 (IBNS): Winning the toss and electing to bat first, India posted a total of 101/1 at lunch on Day 1 against Sri Lanka here on Thursday.

While going for the lunch, two Indian batters, Lokesh Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara remained unbeaten at 52 and 14 runs respectively.

Earlier, Rahul's opening partner Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed after getting a quick start of 35 from 37 deliveries.

Dilruwan Perera picked up the only wicket for Sri Lanka.

India lead the three-match test series by 1-0.
