Clinical Saina routs opponent, reaches second round

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 11 (IBNS): Ace Indian shuttler, Saina Nehwal followed her compatriot PV Sindhu and won her first match to set up a second round date.

Saina defeated Brazil's Lohaynny Vicente 21-17, 21-17.

In a mix day for Indian sports enthusiasts, the loss of the Hockey, Boxing and Archery team was replenished by the Sindhu-Saina wins.
