CL T20: Hobart Hurricanes beat Northern by 86 runs

Raipur, Sept 23 (IBNS): Hobart Hurricanes defeated Northern Districts by a massive 86 runs in a Champions League T20 match here on Tuesday.

After posting 178 for three, the bowlers bowled out   Northern  for 92.

Experienced Scott Styris was the only batsman who crossed the 30-run mark and posted 37 runs with his bat.

He smashed three boundaries and a six in his innings.

Tim Southee contributed 21 runs while the rest could not reach the double figure mark.

Doug Bollinger  and Ben Hilfenhaus took three wickets in the match.

Earlier, riding on Aiden Blizzard's 62 and Shoaib Malik's unbeaten 45, Hobart posted a competitive 178 runs on the scoreboard.
