Champions Trophy 2017: Bangladesh set 265 as target for India
Losing the toss and coming out to bat, Bangladesh scored 264/7 in 50 overs.
Despite losing early wickets in the power play, Tamim Iqbal and Mishfiqur Rahim put up a 123 runs partnership for the third wicket, which pushed the Bangla boys to a comfort zone.
While Tamim scored 70 (82), Rahim got out at 61 (85). It was a surprising move by the Indian captain Virat Kohli to hand over the ball to Kedav Jadhav who gave the breakthrough to the team by dismissing Tamim, when the third wicket partnership was going well.
Though Bangladesh was looking good to get closer to 300, Jasprit Bumrah picked couple of wickets at the crucial time, which helped India to pull things back.
Later down the innings, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza's quick 30 pushed them to cross 250 mark.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Kedar Jadhav shared two wickets each.
