Kolkata/IBNS: Rajeshwar Tiwari and Shubham Acharya are leading the field in the Millennium Match Point Pairs Event at the Ashok Ruia Memorial Winter National Bridge Championship, held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, New Town.

After 20 of the total 25 preliminary rounds, the duo has accumulated 1,505.06 Match Points (MPs), followed closely by Sayantan Kushari and Sagnik Roy with 1,452.87 MPs.

A total of sixty pairs are competing, with the top 26 advancing to the final round, which will be held alongside the Seniors Pairs Event (for players aged 60 and above) on the concluding day tomorrow.

The top ten pairs at the end of the 20th round are:

1. Rajeshwar Tiwari & Shubham Acharya – 1,505.06 MPs

2. Sayantan Kushari & Sagnik Roy – 1,452.87 MPs

3. Joyrup Mullick & Pranab Roy – 1,422.34 MPs
